Green Fest Newark festival will run from 11AM-4PM on September 26th, at Branch Brook Park Prudential Lions.

Day of festival volunteer opportunities are from 10:00 AM - 5 PM in 3.5 hour shifts. Festival Volunteers are expected to be available for a full shift. 

​

This Volunteer role may be for you if you:

• Passion for sustainability, community greening initiatives, and healthy living

• Have an interest in arts and culture

• Have a positive and outgoing personality

• Have a good level of a second language after English

• Take pride in and enjoy welcoming visitors of all ages and backgrounds

• Feel confident in a customer-facing environment, public*

 

This is an opportunity to be part of a very special event in the Greater Newark Area. As a Festival Volunteer you’ll have the opportunity to be an ambassador for the FOURTH sustainability fair in the city of Newark. You will have the opportunity to meet sustainability experts, thought leaders, and fellow enthusiasts from the community and make new friends.

 

We will provide you with a lanyard for easy identification by visitors. If you are volunteering, you’ll need to ensure you have appropriate clothing and footwear.
